Application Support Specialist


Functie

You will contribute to the translation of business needs into technical requirements, and participate in implementing and documenting the necessary digitalization steps to optimize the operational processes. As an application support specialist, you will be part of a team that plays a crucial role in the digitalization of our Food Services business and help ISS to continue delivering quality Integrated Facility Services.

The application Support Specialist delivers the service for the IT service management processes, ensuring the smooth operation of the applications.

Your tasks:

  • Administration, monitoring and maintenance of software applications and its infrastructure
  • Configuration of software parameters and master data to meet business requirements
  • Safeguard alignment of master data in the applications eco system to facilitate data flows and interfacing
  • Administer user access rights and user profiles of applications
  • Test Applications and new software versions, “Go live” support after introduction of new solutions
  • Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving faults and errors in applications
  • Assessing issues,  analysing error trends and developing functionality changes to improve the way of working
  • Reporting and creating documentation for applications
  • Convey technical information in a way that non-technical colleagues can understand
  • Supporting the processing of service requests
  • Escalating unresolved incidents to service providers

Jouw profiel

  • You have a solid background in IT Infrastructure and Application Management
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills in French, Dutch and English
  • You have an analytical mind and are very detail-oriented
  • You are committed to quality

  • You are customer and service oriented
  • You are able to collaborate by building partnerships and work together with colleagues to meet shared objectives
  • Notions of IT development and/or Data Management is an asset

  • Brieven, verslagen, nota’s, ... opstellen en redigeren
  • Tools voor de opvolging van de activiteiten en situatieoverzichten ontwikkelen en bijwerken
  • Afspraken en planning van een verantwoordelijke of een medewerker organiseren
    Telefonische oproepen en bezoekers filteren
  • Dossiers behandelen en opvolgen (samenstellen, samenvatten, bijwerken van bestanden, ...)
  • Materiaal, toebehoren en verbruiksgoederen bestellen
    De leveringen controleren
  • Professionele informatie en reglementering bijwerken
    Documenten archiveren en klasseren
  • Verplaatsingen van de verantwoordelijke of van teamleden organiseren
  • De activiteiten van een team coördineren
  • Personeelsdossiers administratief opvolgen
    Aanwervingen en opleidingen logistiek organiseren
  • Uitvoeringsvoorwaarden van onderhoudscontracten van kantoormateriaal, technische keuringen van voertuigen, ... organiseren en opvolgen
  • Vergaderingen voorbereiden en organiseren (uitnodigingen, voorbereiding van de dossiers, reservering van zalen, ...)
  • Documenten ingeven, briefwisseling behandelen en e-mailberichten beheren
  • Communicatieacties en evenementen plannen en organiseren
